01/10/25 Taxes, Classes, and Other Great Events!
NOTE: 2024 Tax Receipts for GBTF donors have been issued! If you give online, your receipt came to your email in the past few days. It will be from Intuit. If you don’t find it in your inbox, check the junk mail folder! If you give through the mail, your receipt has been mailed to you! Please let us know if you do not receive yours, and we will send it again!
Now to what is happening in 2025. We have quite a few classes ongoing all over! The beauty of training nationals to train nationals is that they are highly motivated, they are local, and they are getting the job done. At the start of 2025, GBTF has 88 national trainers. By the end of the year, we are praying for at least 100!!! We have a large class in Liberia this week that Bruce was scheduled to teach. Due to some health issues, the class is now being taught by Fidele Shinga with some videos provided by Bruce. On Sunday Fidele, along with GBTF Western Africa Director Philip Wille and GBTF Ex-Officio Board Member James Togba, will oversee the dedication of the building built this past year in Guinea. Look for lots of pictures of all of these events.
At the end of 2024, we had seen over 1,100 church plants started by GBTF-trained pastors. These churches are growing and reaching their communities with the gospel! In August, we dedicated a new building for Rwanstinga Acts Bible Baptist Church in western Uganda. They are seeing people saved and baptized each week! They have several who had been considered “town drunks” come to faith in Christ. Their lives have been drastically changed by the power of the gospel. One of these men, whose marriage had been destroyed by his drinking, renewed his vows with his wife at the church this past Sunday. 
What a joy to see God working around the world, particularly in Africa! We are excited to see what God will do in the upcoming year! If you aren’t part of the GBTF Team, join us in this great work of training nationals to train nationals.
