10/12/24 GBTF New Babies – Physical and Spiritual

We are so excited to see Global Baptist Training Foundation growing in many ways – new countries, new classes, new staff positions, and new babies!

Brite Atusasire, GBTF Trainer and church planter in Uganda, and his wife, Mercy, welcomed their first child last week.  Truth Malawi is also the first grandchild for Naboth (GBTF East Africa Director) and Esther (GBTF Women’s Trainer) Atusasire!  She was named Malawi because her grandfather was in Malawi with Bruce and Fidele for a class and graduation when she was born!  We are thrilled for this family and welcome Truth to the world and our GBTF family!’

Spiritual new babies are also a cause for great rejoicing.  With 455 church plants this year, our third quarter report indicated 4,441 sounds saved.  This is with just most of the church plants reporting. Getting reports is not always easy because of lack of technology.  We have great news about that in a coming update. This 4,441 new believers brings to almost 18,000 saved thus far in 2024.  Thousand have been baptized with more baptisms scheduled in coming weeks.

We are so blessed to be part of this work of nationals training nationals. The end result is new Christians who are being trained by trained pastors.  This growth, of course, brings greater financial needs.  Visit www.globaltrain.org to be part of this great work!
