10/14/25 GBTF 3rd Quarter 2025
We have received the statistics from our GBTF network in Africa for the third quarter of 2025. This report will give you information about the results of our joint efforts from July through September only!
This chart says it all! We have 1,127 churches reporting. We have almost 1,800 churches that have been started by GBTF-trained pastors. As you know, we have invested significant time and resources this year to providing each trainer and church planter with the ability to communicate!
Many of the churches started by GBTF-trained pastors are in remote areas with little infrastructure. We are providing them with satellite phones, a GBTF app, and training in using both! Ntare Rodgers, GBTF IT Director, has traveled thousands of kilometers and is not finished yet!
But, even with all of this investment of time and money, we still have results from only 1,127 of the 1,800 churches. This is our best result yet, and we know it will continue to improve!
With that disclaimer out of the way, we are rejoicing in what we know! Over 25,500 people came to faith in Christ during this 3 month period. Almost 14,000 of those were baptized as a public example of their faith! As we often explain, many in Africa attend a class before they are baptized. This is because these churches want people to take the next step of obedience in complete understanding of what it means to be a Christ follower.
It is so exciting to see how training nationals to train nationals looks in reality! It works! When Paul told Timothy (I Timothy 2:2) to invest what he had learned in other faithful men who could train others, he left us a guidebook for moving the gospel forward in every age!
