11/01/2021 Uganda Graduation

We completed our classroom in Entebbe last week. It was a productive week in every way. Friendships were renewed, new relationships were begun, and two new classes were completed in the training of these Ugandan pastors. It is the rainy season in Uganda, but we only had rain early in the mornings. Afternoons and evenings were pleasant, and this allowed for tolerable travel. The rainy season combined with Covid restrictions and fears did hinder many of the pastors from attending. We will gradually see the numbers get back to a more normal number as we move forward.

Thirty one pastors graduated from these two courses and most of them are on their way to half of the requirements for their theological diplomas. We will return in February of 2022 for two more subjects. We also have identified among the pastors at least two possible trainers for the future. These trainers will eventually travel throughout Uganda and take the training they have received and train others. This is the heart of Global Baptist Training Foundation.
