12/15/25 Classes in December
While we are getting ready to slow down for a couple of weeks to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Global Baptist Training Foundation national trainers have stayed busy in the month of December. Here are just a few of the classes from this month:
Northern Burundi:
This class was held in Musema. The trainer, Ferdinand Nduwimana, had a huge class of 167 people to study Eschatology (the study of last things)! This class had pastors, pastors’ wives, and many of the young people who want more training. We pray these youth are the future of GBTF for church planting and eventually as trainers themselves!

Malawi:
The GBTF class held in Karonga, Malawi, was smaller than most of our classes. We have a general rule of a minimum of 30 class participants so that the classes are cost effective. However, for remote areas, we do make exceptions so that GBTF theological training is available to all who need it! As we move now into the northern cradle of Africa, we anticipate smaller classes to avoid unwanted attention!

Tanzania:
This GBTF training took place in Kyela Mjini in Southern Tanzania. This large group studied Biblical Evangelism, one of our 15 core courses. The Biblical Evangelism class has yielded great results. Often, during this class, the pastors and church leaders leave the afternoon session and take to the streets and villages to practice what they are learning. Many, many have come to faith in Christ because of this one single course.

Uganda:
Mbarara, Uganda, is one of the most active training centers in all of Africa! Our GBTF team in this area includes Naboth Atusasire, GBTF East Africa Director, Ntare Rodgers, GBTF African IT Director, Gilbert Okecha and others. Uganda is bursting with new church plants because of these classes in Mbarara. This class covered both Old Testament Survey and New Testament Survey!

Kenya:
In Maili Saba in Kitale, Kenya, GBTF students studied Soteriology (the study of salvation). Like most places where GBTF delivers in-person training, these students are both diligent and grateful as they gain college level theological training.

Classes large, classes small, but all accomplishing the same thing: Training Nationals to Train Nationals! The average GBTF class has about 50 pastors and church leaders as learners. When you multiply that over 2025, we have had about 10,000 trained through Global Baptist Training Foundation in 2025 alone! Join us in this great endeavor www.globaltrain.org!
