01/18/24 A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

As usual, this is an extremely busy season for Global Baptist Training Foundation. Here are some pictures with brief captions to catch you up!!

Class awards in Tanzania. This course was taught last week by Fidele Shinga who is in Ethiopia teaching now. Pictures of Ethiopia to follow!!

Bruce is teaching a group of about 60 this week in Liberia. Most are pastors, but there are also pastors’ wives and other church leaders in attendance!

Liberians who completed all course requirement last week. For those who didn’t earn the certificate, national trainers will offer follow up classes to allow them to complete this week’s work.

After class each day, Bruce has been training national trainers. Thanks to our donors, we were able to supply them with projectors, GBTF material, and other necessary equipment.

This is the contingent of pastors from nearby Guinea who travel to Liberia for classes. This group is the leadership for two church plants in Guinea. They are planting churches in areas where no gospel witness has been for at least a generation. In partnership with another foundation, we are building a building for one church plant. Their desire is to host GBTF classes in Guinea soon.
