04/18/24 Powerful Results for GBTF in Africa Increasing

Global Baptist Training Foundation exists to take theological training to pastors and church leaders with cost to them.  The layers of results from that training continues to expand rapidly. 

We have now received a report for the first quarter of 2024 from East Africa where GBTF-trained pastor are currently planting 300 new churches.  These churches are in Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and the DRC (Congo). 100 of these 300 church planters are being supported $50 a month for one year by our church planting partner, ADVANCE.  The other 200 church planters require no outside support at all!  These 300 churches report 4,650 people coming to faith in Christ in just the first quarter of 2024. Over 1,500 of those saved have been baptized with most of the others taking baptism preparation classes. 

These churches are reaching thousands of people with the gospel.  Training, equipping, encouraging, and motivating are all that these nationals need to be effective in spreading the gospel throughout their nations.

We also have two buildings in progress. This building in Uganda will be finished by June. The building in Guinea is basically finished. Philip, our West Africa Director, was headed to Guinea to get pictures this week when his brother was killed in a car crash. Please pray for Philip and his family!
