3/6/23 Uganda and Beyond

Bruce is in Uganda with the largest group of pastors ever in this East African nation.  Both he and Dr. Larry Bazer have travelled to Uganda to teach, and next week they will travel on to Tanzania for another week of classes. Next week, Fidèle will teach in Malawi followed by a week in Zimbabwe, a brand new country for Global Baptist Training Foundation.  Look for updates from all of these classes.

GBTF is thankful for partners like Dr. Bazer of SENT, etc, who volunteers his time and travel costs to partner with GBTF in training our pastors. We are also thankful for Pastor Greg Dixon and Advance who support GBTF pastors who are planting new churches.  In Uganda alone, about 40 church plants are in process.  In the other nations where GBTF is training pastors, another 91 church plants are under way.  This brings the total new churches started through GBTF and Advance to over 400 in less than five years.  Those are astounding numbers.  To God be the glory!

These Ugandan pastors are engaged, excited, and determined to use their training to reach their nation for Christ. Each church plant represents many who have been saved and baptized and are being discipled by pastors who have received training through GBTF.   Now we are ready to train some Ugandan national trainers as well.  

We will host graduation ceremonies in both Uganda and Tanzania in June. We have more good news to report soon!

Thank you for giving that training and church planting can continue to grow exponentially.
